WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractors are primary health care professionals who diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The word chiropractic comes from the Greek words meaning “treatment by hand”. This is exactly what chiropractors do, we use our hands to manipulate the body in order to promote healing. These specific spinal adjustments are performed on segments of the vertebral column that have been found to have restrictions in movement, thereby improving mobility and relieving pain.
DOES CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT HURT?
No. These adjustments are generally painless and sometimes produce an audible “crack”. This is not “bones moving” as is a common myth but simply little bubbles of air popping within the joint.
IS IT SAFE FOR CHILDREN?
Yes. Chiropractic is a completely natural treatment found to be both safe and effective in both adults and children.

Clair has a number of years experience in the chiropractic field, and is an excellent first port of call for patients requiring information on chiropractic care.
